Apple Oatmeal Bars

Oat of This World
This day and age we are sometimes too busy to make an appropriate breakfast. Many times we just wake up and grab something and go, sometimes something that is completely unhealthy for us. These Apple Oatmeal Bars are the perfect thing to grab and go and stay on a healthy diet. These bars are so easy to make and please everyone in the family.

Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, blend the butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Slowly add in the other ingredients until well blended together.
  4. Transfer to a grease baking pan.
  5. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove, cut into squares and serve.
Ingredients:
  • Butter x 1/2 cup
  • Brown Sugar (packed) x 1 cup
  • Uncooked oats x 2 1/2 cup
  • Flour x 1 cup
  • Walnuts x 1 cup
  • Egg x 1
  • Ground cinnamon x 2 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract x 1 teaspoon
  • Applesauce x 1/4 cup
  • Cranberries x 1 cup
