Apple Walnut Bundt Cake

How About Them Apples
Bundt cakes are a classic dessert and this apple & walnut bundt cake always seems to be a crowd pleaser. Sometimes I make this recipe into one large bundt cake, but other times I'll put it in smaller bundt cake molds that way I have more of them!

  1. Pour into a greased and floured 10-in. fluted tube pan. Bake at 325° for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, oil and vanilla. Add apples and sugar; beat for 1 minute. Combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and baking powder; add to apple mixture until blended. Stir in walnuts.
  3. Optional: combine confectioners' sugar and brown sugar; sprinkle over cake.
  • Brown sugar x 2 tablespoon
  • Confectioner's Sugar x 2 tablespoon
  • Walnuts, Chopped x 1 cup
  • Baking powder x 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground nutmeg x 3/4 teaspoon
  • Salt x 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda x 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon x 1 tablespoon
  • All purpose flour x 3 cup
  • Sugar x 2 cup
  • Apples (shredded and peeled) x 2 cup
  • Vanilla extract x 1 tablespoon
  • Canola Oil x 1 cup
  • Egg x 3
