Chewy Oatmeal No Bake Treats

These quick and easy to make treats will fulfill your sweet tooth without the guilt, while providing a satisfying crunch with each bite.

Instructions:
  1. Add cocoa, oatmeal and ½ cup almonds in container with lid, cover and shake to combine.
  2. Next, in a large bowl combine peanut butter, honey, vanilla and banana.
  3. Fold the dry mixture into the wet, then add remaining ½ cup almonds and mix.
  4. Roll into balls and place on wax paper covered cookie sheet.
  5. Place in freezer for 15 minutes to stiffen. Time: 30 minutes total Yield: about 24
Ingredients:
  • 100% whole grain oatmeal x 1 cup
  • creamy peanut butter x 1/2 cup
  • honey x 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract x 1 teaspoon
  • baking cocoa powder x 1/4 cup
  • slivered almonds x 1 cup
  • medium banana - mashed x 1/2
