Tropical Fruit Crumble
Recipe by Amy Ledyard
Oat of This World
Who doesn’t love a good crumble/cobbler? Sweet fruit; deep cinnamon; rich brown sugar; what’s not to love!?! With this recipe, I knew I wanted to do a twist on an old favorite. We also had a bunch of oranges and a whole pineapple, all of which needed to be used ASAP, so using them to make a tropical twist on a southern favorite was the only logical thing to do. As I mentioned, I used pineapple and oranges, but feel free to experiment with whatever tropical fruit is your favorite.

Instructions:
  1. Peel and chop your fruit.
  2. Add the cinnamon and brown sugar to the fruit, and mix it well.
  3. Transfer to a 9x9 pan.
  4. Mix oats and syrup.
  5. Top the fruit with this oat mixture.
  6. Sprinkle pecans on top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • Medium Oranges x 4
  • Small Pineapple x 1
  • Cinnamon x 1 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar x 1 tablespoon
  • Oats x 2 cup
  • Maple Syrup x 1/4 cup
  • Chopped pecans x 1/4 cup
